Boss Survival Guide: Beat Healers, Vampires & Dragon Lords

Deeper in Realm of Okonil: Gems Magic, the monsters get tougher. Players start meeting special enemies and big 5 Star bosses like the Obsidian Wyrmlord and the Infernal Crownlord.

Here is how these enemies work and what players can do about them.

Every 10 levels, players reach a new World, and the monsters get stronger. Just matching the first gems you see will not always work. Bosses can lock up the board and charge big attacks.

Here is how these enemies work and what players can do about them.

1. Charged Attacks and Hellfire Breath

Sometimes an enemy skips its normal attack and charges up. This is one of the most dangerous moments in a fight.

An enemy can start charging when it has more than 70% HP and at least two of your heroes are still standing. It has a 30% chance to do it. When it glows, get ready.

⚡ Charged Strike (2.5x Damage)

Normal and elite monsters hit your weakest hero for 250% damage.

🔥 Hellfire Breath (1.5x Damage)

Dragon Lord bosses, like the Infernal Crownlord, hit your whole team. All three living heroes take 150% damage at once.

💡 Strategy Tip

Save your Healer and Paladin mana. Do not use their ultimates when your team is already healthy and a boss might charge. Wait and heal right before or right after Hellfire Breath lands.

Get enemies under 70% HP fast. Enemies only start a new charge above 70% HP. A strong single target ultimate from a Rogue or Warrior at the start can stop the charge before it happens.

2. Board Hazards: Webs and Slime

Some bosses do not only attack your heroes. They mess with the board too.

Dragon Lords have a 40% chance to cast a hazard on their turn. Vampires, like the Obsidian Wyrmlord, have a 30% chance. Each hazard needs a different fix.

🕸️ Dragon Bind (Webbed Gems)

Dragon Lords trap 2 gems in webs. You cannot swipe or swap them.

The fix is easy. You can still see the gem color under the web. Match it with two gems of the same color and the web breaks.

🟢 Toxic Sludge (Blocker Tiles)

Vampires and Dragon Lords can turn a gem into a blocker tile. It has no color and cannot move.

You cannot match it directly. Make any 3 gem match right next to it and it breaks.

🚫 The 5 Hazard Limit

The board holds up to 5 hazards at once, webs and blockers together. At 5, the boss goes back to normal attacks. But 5 locked tiles make it very hard to find matches, so do not leave them there.

💡 Strategy Tip

Use Line Blasters (match 4) and Radiant Orbs (match 5) to clear hazards quickly.

3. Who the Enemies Attack and Enemy Healers

Knowing who the enemies go after can save your run.

❤️ Enemy Healers

When any enemy drops under 60% HP, the enemy Healer stops attacking and heals the most hurt teammate.

So do not spread your damage across all three enemies. Hit the Healer first with your Rogue, Warrior, or Tank. Or take one enemy from above 60% straight down to zero.

🎯 They Go for Your Weakest Hero

On normal attacks, enemies focus on any badly hurt hero. If nobody is badly hurt, they have a 70% chance to pick the hero with the lowest HP.

Before a boss stage, keep a Shield Potion or 3 Revive Potions in your inventory. With 3 Revive Potions, a fallen hero comes back on its own so you can finish the fight.

4. Use Powerup Gems When You Are Stuck

Some boss levels have walls and hazards on the board at the same time. Normal matches may not be enough.

💥 Line Blaster (Match 4)

Match 4 gems to make a charged gem. Match it again and it clears a full row or column. Great for hazards that are far away.

🌈 Radiant Orb (Match 5)

Match 5 gems to make a rainbow Radiant Orb. Swap it with any color and every gem of that color on the board is destroyed. It can start big cascades and fill your hero mana bars in one turn.

Realm of Okonil: Gems Magic, How to Beat Level 49

Some players have been getting stuck on Level 49 . The level is beatable. The developer tested it and cleared it. It just takes a strong team and the right plan. 🎮 Upgrade the Heroes Players should upgrade their heroes before trying this level. A stronger team can make a big difference. Having some 3-star and 4-star heroes can also give players a better chance of getting through the battle. 💡 Strategy Tip If the team is struggling to deal enough damage, upgrading the heroes before trying the level again can make a big difference. ⚔️ Take Out the Weakest Enemies First Going straight for the strongest enemy is not the best plan. Players should find the weakest heroes on the other team and defeat them first. Taking out weaker enemies can take pressure off the team and make the fight easier to control. 🔴 Match Red Gems Often Red Gems give extra hits , and those hits can add up quickly. Beginner's Guide: 5 Things Every Player Should Know Before Starting Realm of Okonil

Starting Realm of Okonil: Gems Magic for the first time is exciting. Matching gems and fighting monsters may seem simple at first, but as players move through the realm, the battles become more challenging and strategy becomes more important. Whether a player is starting with Yolvex, Thornspire, and Nydrath or trying to get past a difficult level, knowing how the game works can make a big difference. Here are five things every new player should know. 1. Gem Colors Matter When choosing a team, it can be tempting to simply choose the three heroes with the highest stats. But gem colors are just as important. When players match a gem that matches the color of a living hero on their team, that hero adds their Attack to the power of the match. For example, if a player matches Red Gems and has a living Red hero on the team, that hero contributes their Attack to the match. If two heroes on the team share the same color, both heroes can contribute their...
