Every hero in Realm of Okonil: Gems Magic belongs to one of 9 Hero Classes. With a 50 slot Hero Collection and the fairer PvP Raid rules from Update 1.2.3, players have more room than ever to recruit, upgrade, and ascend a mix of heroes.
A hero's gem color decides which matches charge their Mana and add their Attack. Their Hero Class decides their Ultimate Skill. Knowing how to mix these skills is the key to beating late game bosses and winning PvP Raids.
Here is every class, what its Ultimate does, and how to build a strong team of 3.
1. Single Target Classes
Enemy Healers heal when an ally drops below 60% HP, and Dragon Lords can charge up big attacks. Spreading damage around can backfire. These classes take out the most dangerous enemy with one hit.
🗡️ Rogue: Assassinate (600 Base Damage)
Role: Single target executioner.
Hits one target for 600 base damage. It gets stronger with the hero's Attack and Star level.
Heroes: Duskwhisper, Corveth, Umbrael, Niavex
Best for: Taking out enemy Healers, or a boss before its next big attack.
⚔️ Warrior: Titan Smash (400 Base Damage)
Role: Balanced frontline fighter.
Slams one target for 400 base damage. Warriors also have solid health and attack.
Heroes: Zharuk, Molgrath, Syravel, Ulvarak
Best for: Steady single target damage while taking hits.
🛡️ Tank: Shield Bash (250 Base Damage)
Role: High HP frontline.
Bashes one target for 250 base damage. The damage is lower, but Tanks have huge HP to soak up attacks.
Heroes: Beldus, Borgrak, Grommthal, Veltharune
Best for: Outlasting hard-hitting bosses and anchoring PvP Defense Teams.
2. Multi Hit Classes
These classes send a bunch of hits at random living enemies. No hit is wasted on a defeated enemy. If only one boss is left, every hit goes to the boss.
🔥 Fire Mage: Armageddon (5 Meteors x 120 Base Damage)
Role: Heavy multi hit damage.
Calls down 5 meteors on random living enemies, 120 base damage each. That adds up to 600 base damage.
Heroes: Pyravan, Cindravox, Aelvrix
Best for: Big enemy waves and lone bosses.
🏹 Archer: Arrow Storm (Rapid Multi Shot)
Role: Fast charging striker.
Fires a quick volley at random living enemies. It can chip down several targets or finish the last one standing. Archers like Thornspire also charge Mana fast.
Heroes: Thornspire, Aechorn, Sylvrek
Best for: Casting your Ultimate often and finishing low HP enemies.
3. Area Damage Classes
When all three enemy slots are full of tough monsters, or when facing a 3 hero PvP Defense Team, these classes hit every enemy at once.
🔮 Wizard: Arcane Void (250 Base Damage to ALL Enemies)
Role: Top area damage dealer.
An arcane blast hits every living enemy for 250 base damage. Against 3 enemies, that is up to 750 base damage in total.
Heroes: Drexoval, Velkratha
Best for: Clearing 3 enemy waves and pressuring a whole PvP Defense Team.
🌨️ Ice Mage: Blizzard (150 Base Damage to ALL Enemies)
Role: Easy team wide damage.
A freezing storm hits all enemies for 150 base damage. Players get this from Level 1 with the starter Ice Mage, Yolvex.
Heroes: Yolvex, Glacimund, Thessalur
Best for: Steady damage on every enemy that sets up knockouts for your single target heroes.
4. Healing and Hybrid Classes
Enemies have a 70% chance to target your weakest hero, and bosses can use 2.5x Charged Strikes or team wide Hellfire Breath. A healing class is a must in the later Worlds.
💚 Healer: Divine Blessings (Full Team Heal)
Role: Pure healing support.
Restores ALL living allies to 100% Max HP in the Campaign. On a PvP Defense Team, ultimate healing is capped at 80% of Max HP as of Update 1.2.3.
Heroes: Nydrath, Embrath, Orvenmoss, Bruvokk
Best for: Resetting your team's health right after a boss Charged Attack.
🌟 Paladin: Judgment (200 Damage to ALL Enemies + Team Heal)
Role: Hybrid damage and healing.
Deals 200 base damage to ALL enemies and heals ALL allies, up to 100% Max HP in the Campaign. On a PvP Defense Team, the healing is capped at 80% of Max HP.
Heroes: Solindra, Aethundra, Aurenveil, Lytheris
Best for: Campaign bosses and PvP Raids. One cast hurts every enemy and heals your whole team.
💡 Update 1.2.3 PvP Defense Rule
A PvP Defense Team can now have only 1 healing hero, a Healer or a Paladin, not both. Ultimate healing on defense is also capped at 80% of Max HP. Players should check their Defense Team and fill the other two slots with strong Tanks or damage heroes like Rogues and Warriors.
3 Team Builds to Try Today
Not sure how to put 3 heroes together? Here are three builds that work in the Campaign and in PvP Raids.
⚖️ The Balanced Trio
Team: Rogue or Warrior + Wizard or Ice Mage + Healer or Paladin (3 different gem colors)
Why it works: The area hero softens up the whole wave, the Rogue or Warrior takes out the most dangerous enemy, and the Healer or Paladin keeps everyone alive.
💥 The Boss Breaker Stack
Team: Rogue + Fire Mage + Paladin (with two heroes sharing a gem color, so both add their Attack to that match)
Why it works: It puts out huge damage on one target so bosses go down before they can fill the board with Webs or Toxic Sludge.
🏰 The Raid Fortress
Team: Tank + Paladin or Healer + Rogue, Warrior, or Wizard
Why it works: It is built for the Update 1.2.3 rule of 1 healing hero on defense. The Tank soaks up heavy hits, the Paladin or Healer gives strong healing (with PvP Defense ultimate healing capped at 80% of Max HP), and the Rogue, Warrior, or Wizard hits back at the challenger.
